Fettuccine Alfredo (Sauce Recipe)

I love pasta, I honestly can't think of a single pasta dish that I would say no to if offered to me, but I will admit that alfredo sauce is always at the front of my mind when I am craving a carb-heavy pasta night. This alfredo sauce recipe comes together in about 10 minutes and only requires a few simple ingredients that you more than likely already have in your pantry.

You guys know I'm not one for long dialogues before the recipe, so let's just get down to it!

Alfredo Sauce:

2 Cups water

1/3 Cup cashews

2 TBSP Nutritional Yeast

2 tsp onion powder

2 Italian Seasoning

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tsp freshly cracked pepper

Sea salt to taste

Add water, cashews and nutritional yeast into a high powered blender. Process on high until totally smooth. Transfer mixture into a sauce pan over medium-high heat, add remaining seasonings and stir constantly with a rubber spatula until the sauce begins to boil and thicken. Once the sauce is thickened to desired consistency stir in your favorite pasta and enjoy!

*Sauce can be kept in the refrigerator for up to five days.
